Mosfet/VRM Blocks
VRM stages regulate the power going into the CPU, and on a board being pushed hard they can end up the hottest thing on it. A monoblock covers them along with the CPU. A separate VRM block is the answer when you want to keep your existing CPU block, or the board has no monoblock available for it.

DIY means these are universal blocks you position yourself rather than a board specific cover. Measure the VRM bank and check component height around it before ordering, since a block that overhangs a tall capacitor will not sit flat, and a block that does not sit flat does nothing.
