How the DIY block works
With this block you can water-cool the voltage regulator modules on suitable graphics cards if no matched water block is available for the card. Other applications are also possible. Before installation of the block, the cooling plate must be cut to the required dimensions, and suitable mounting holes must be cut into it. Watercool names the HEATKILLER GPU-X³ Core series as compatible.
The two ports are M5 threads, so each one takes an M5 fitting. Its sibling in the range is the HEATKILLER microSW-X 60 DIY.
What you need to mount it
A thermal interface between the regulators and the plate is recommended, and it is not included: pick a compound or pad from our thermal range. The screws and nuts for mounting are included.
