A closed bottom for a modular reservoir
Every part of the HEATKILLER Tube series can be exchanged on its own. This conversion kit is the plain bottom, which turns a Tube that carries a D5 or DDC pump today into a reservoir that works on its own. The pump then sits elsewhere in the loop.
Swapping the bottom
The bottom is held to the struts by four screws. On this standalone version they are directly accessible; on a D5 or DDC version the pump comes off first to reach them. Fit the new bottom the same way in reverse order, with the o-rings seated correctly and undamaged.
What the loop needs
The pump then needs its own top, for example a D5 pump top such as the HEATKILLER D5-TOP. The reservoir with this base already fitted is the HEATKILLER Tube 100, also sold in 150 and 200 mm lengths. A standalone Tube can stand on the floor of the case on the Tube Stand (short). For a DDC pump under the reservoir the base is the DDC Bottom.

Notes
- Drain the reservoir and take it out of the loop completely before you change the base.
- Check all seals before the first start-up. If an O-ring is squeezed or damaged, do not use the reservoir.
