A new tube or a new length
This is a spare part for a reservoir of the HEATKILLER Tube series, which Watercool builds as a modular system where each part can be exchanged on its own. Watercool lists every reservoir of the series as compatible. Use the tube to replace a broken one, or to convert a shorter or longer reservoir to the 200 mm size.
Note that a change of length also needs struts of the matching length, which Watercool sells separately. For this size those are the 200 mm black struts and the 200 mm raw aluminum struts.
Changing the tube
Drain the reservoir and take it out of the loop before any change. Open the lid with a quarter turn counterclockwise, then undo the four M4x12 screws under it and take off the top. The tube now pulls out to the top; do not lose the O-rings.
For new struts the bottom comes off too: four screws hold it to the struts, directly reachable on the standalone version, while on the D5 and DDC versions the pump has to come off first. Reassemble in reverse order, with the O-rings seated correctly and undamaged.
Watercool uses O-rings of two thicknesses, 4 mm and 5 mm, to compensate the length tolerance of the glass tubes. Use the same thickness you found in your reservoir. A fresh pair is in the O-Rings for Glass Tube spare part, which holds both.
Notes
- Check all seals before you start the loop again. If an O-ring is squeezed or damaged, the reservoir must not be used.
- The coffee mug in the photos is for size reference only and is not included.
In the box

Watercool's assembly instructions cover the whole HEATKILLER Tube series, with taking the reservoir apart and swapping the tube, struts and O-rings.
