One base, one D5 pump
The HEATKILLER Tube series is fully modular, so each part can be exchanged on its own. This is the bottom that supports one D5 pump directly under the reservoir. A Tube that runs with a DDC today can be switched to a D5 with it.
Fitting the D5 pump
A bare D5 pump motor needs no preparation. A LAING/LOWARA D5 with its original cover has to lose that cover first: turn the large ring to the left and the motor comes free.
On the reservoir, undo the M4x12 screws on the bottom and take off the D5 lock ring. Turn the empty reservoir upside down and put the O-ring in place. Guide the pump cable through the lock ring, set the pump on and tighten the M4x12 screws evenly and crosswise. Take care not to squeeze or damage the cable at any point.
What the loop needs
The pump is sold separately: see our D5 pumps, such as the WCP D5-PWM Pump. The reservoir with this base already fitted is the HEATKILLER Tube 100 D5, also sold in 150 and 200 mm lengths. A spare seal for the pump seat is the O-Ring for D5 pump, and for a DDC there is the DDC Bottom.

Notes
- Drain the reservoir and take it out of the loop completely before you change the base.
- Check all seals before the first start-up. If an O-ring is squeezed or damaged, do not use the reservoir.
