A triple pump top that runs three Laing/Lowara DDC pumps in series, milled from a solid 30 mm acetal block with G1/4 ports. The Watercool HEATKILLER Multitop DDC X3 (31017) significantly increases the delivery head and can be extended with further expansion tops.

The HEATKILLER Multitop series
Watercool says its new HEATKILLER® Multitop series for Lowara/Laing DDC pumps is characterized by a unique construction and expandability. The Multitop X3 is manufactured from a solid acetal block 30mm thick, and in Watercool's words it convinces with an outstanding quality of workmanship.
Flow paths and mounting
Watercool says the internal channel structure has been optimized for delivery head and flow capacity. Watercool's complex manufacturing process allows it to mill the positioning attachments from one block. That results in less vibration at the transition to the pump, which therefore also contributes to quieter operation. It also greatly simplifies installation.
Three pumps in series, and more
The X3 provides a serial connection for three DDC pumps, which is what raises the head. For the MULTITOP X3, an EXPANSION TOP serves as the connection between input and output. Adding further EXPANSION TOPs is easily possible, theoretically allowing infinite scaling of the top. This modular design is held together by a solid M5 screw.
What the loop needs
The top takes three DDC pumps, which are not included; remove any standard pump top from them first. Its G1/4 connectors take standard fittings. For a fourth pump, add the HEATKILLER Multi Expansion-Top DDC (31018) or the Multitop DDC Expansion Kit (31020), which contain the parts needed. The optional Decoupling-Kit (31019) reduces vibrations. For one pump only, the HEATKILLER Singletop DDC fits.

Notes
- Only the original O-ring of the Laing DDC pump may be used; check that it sits properly before you fix each pump with the supplied screws.
- Watercool recommends demineralized or deionized (distilled) water with a corrosion inhibitor as coolant.
