Who it is for
The paste is the evolution of the legendary Kryonaut thermal paste. It was developed for enthusiasts, professional overclockers and users demanding the highest possible thermal performance. It is designed to perform where conventional thermal compounds reach their limits, and it excels in everyday high-performance systems as well as extreme overclocking environments. Both ends are covered, whether you're cooling a flagship CPU with a custom water loop or pushing hardware under liquid nitrogen (LN2). It is optimized for custom water cooling, chilled cooling and liquid nitrogen alike. The paste was developed in collaboration with leading engineers and professional overclockers. It has been validated for everything from daily gaming systems to world-record overclocking sessions. That makes it a fit for building a gaming PC, tuning a workstation or chasing benchmark records, when every degree matters and cooling has to be uncompromising. We stock the original Kryonaut too.
What sets it apart
The formulation is optimized by utilizing ultra-fine particles, a thinner minimum application layer and improved low-temperature characteristics. With them the paste delivers even greater thermal conductivity under the most demanding conditions, up to the maximum thermal conductivity needed for extreme cooling performance. The advanced formulation also incorporates aluminum oxide nanoparticles that are electrically non-conductive. They maximize thermal performance while maintaining safe application around sensitive electronic components. Unlike many high-performance compounds, the paste does not cure or harden over time. That is what is ensuring reliable performance and exceptional stability through repeated thermal cycles. Outstanding long-term stability is one of its features, and it provides consistently efficient heat transfer.
Applying it
Easy application is part of the design: the optimized consistency allows the paste to spread easily into an ultra-thin layer. The fine particle formulation and the thin layer serve the same end, reduced thermal resistance, minimizing what sits between the processor and cooler. Clean the CPU heat spreader and the cooler with a dry cloth or high-percentage isopropanol first; old paste comes off with Thermal Grizzly's acetone-based Remove cleaner. Mount an applicator on the syringe and lay down a layer as thin as possible that still covers the entire heat spreader. Then pull the plunger back slightly so the paste left in the applicator returns into the syringe. A plastic spatula or a plastic card with a straight edge also works, never a metal one.
