Precise application
Thermal Grizzly calls its Thermal Paste Spatula an indispensable tool to ensure accurate and even distribution of the paste. That precise, even layer on the CPU is a critical factor for achieving optimal thermal conductivity.
Prevention of scratches and damage
The spatulas are soft, with a low hardness compared to metal tools. This reduces the risk of scratching or damaging the surface of the CPU, or of other components to which the thermal compound is applied. Plastic tools have an additional advantage: they cannot react with the metallic components of thermal pastes.
Notes
- Care should be taken that the spatula used is clean, so that there are no residues or impurities on it. Any residues on the filler could affect the result of the application.
- Use the spatulas only with thermal paste. For liquid metal, Thermal Grizzly's tool is the Triple Applicators for Liquid Metal.
