The Aquacomputer RGBpx Splitty4 (53267) is a splitter board for fan power supply and RGBpx illumination control. It feeds up to four fans from a single fan connector and adapts the LED lighting of Corsair and NZXT fans to RGBpx.

Two functions on one compact board
The board combines a quadruple fan splitter with an adapter that brings the LED illumination systems of multiple fan types to the RGBpx system. Both functions can be used independently, so the board can serve either as a "simple" fan splitter or solely as an adapter for LED lighting systems.
Fan splitter
The fan connector marked "in" takes the supplied cable from a suitable fan output, and power supply and PWM signal then reach all four fan connectors. Use 3 pin fans or 4 pin PWM fans, provided that the connected fan controller supports that type (voltage controlled or PWM controlled). Only the fan on the connector with the marking "rpm" has its speed signal forwarded back to the controller.
Lighting system adapter
The miniature connector marked "in" takes the supplied RGBpx cable from an RGBpx output of an Aqua Computer device, such as the OCTO fan controller. The following manufacturer specific lighting systems can then connect to the RGBpx system:
- Manufacturer Corsair, four connectors for a maximum of four fans, the "LED hub" is not required: QL120 RGB, QL140 RGB (34 LEDs per fan; max. two pieces can be connected), LL120 RGB, LL140 RGB (16 LEDs per fan), HD120 RGB, HD140 RGB (12 LEDs per fan), ML120 PRO RGB-LED, ML140 PRO RGB-LED (4 LEDs per fan)
- Manufacturer NZXT, one connector, with further fans each connected to the preceding fan, up to a total of eight fans: Aer RGB120, Aer RGB140 (8 LEDs per fan)
Corsair fans fill the headers in ascending order from "1". With all four in use, another RGBpx component can follow on the connector labeled "out", which is otherwise without function. With NZXT, the "IN" of the first fan goes to the splitter and each further fan hangs on the "OUT" of the one before.
Installation
The board can conveniently be attached to a radiator or to two adjacent fans, facing inwards or outwards as space allows. Aquacomputer says this will thereby enable a very clean cable arrangement without the usual tangle. The mounting material consists of two plastic screws M3 x 8 mm (replacement part no. 91119) and two hex nuts M3 (replacement part no. 91017). The fan cable is replacement part no. 53122, the RGBpx cable no. 53261.

Notes
- Aquacomputer's guidelines and recommendations: simultaneous connection of both lighting systems is not possible.
- Keep the electric connectors away from metal parts and other electric devices in the case, or malfunctions or destruction of hardware may occur.
- Stay within the splitter's maximum current rating of 5 A, and within the maximum rating of the fan output when connecting multiple fans.
