Details
The Aquacomputer Aqualis XT 100 mL with Fill Level and Lighting Option | Nano Coated (34059) is a 100 ml tube reservoir with a nano coated borosilicate glass tube. It has a built-in electronic fill level sensor with USB and aquabus interface. There is no pump or pump top, and one 5 mm LED can be fitted in its base.

Nano coated borosilicate glass tube
Every aqualis series reservoir is equipped with a borosilicate glass tube, where tube reservoirs often use acrylic glass. In contrast, Aquacomputer says borosilicate glass is extremely hard and scratch-resistant and features superb thermal and chemical resistance with a very low thermal expansion. On the 100 ml and 150 ml variants the tube has an outer diameter of 50 mm and a wall thickness of 5 mm. Most variants are also available with a nano coating, and this one has it, a coating that will cause water to roll off the inner surface of the glass.
Base, top and air removal
Base and top are made from Delrin and connected by a stainless steel rod. A deflector plate is installed above the return channel into the reservoir to effectively remove air from the water circuit. Return line and suction line both go to the connectors in the base.
Fill level sensor and alarm output
Additionally, this XT version carries an electronic fill level sensor (an mps pressure Δ40, with its pressure equalizing membrane installed in the top), a programmable alarm output and an external temperature sensor input. For monitoring and configuration, the aquasuite software can be downloaded free of charge.
In addition to USB, the 4-pin aquabus interface can directly connect the sensor to an aquaero 5 or 6 controller (not included in delivery), such as the aquaero 6 LT. The alarm output can be configured as an rpm signal for a fan connector with fault detection (for example motherboard fan headers), or used as a switched output to connect a LED.
Fill level and temperature input can each raise an alarm. The input is compatible with all Aqua Computer temperature sensors, for example the G1/4 temperature sensor (53067).
Lighting option
The XT variants feature an acrylic window in the base part, and one LED (5 mm size) can be installed in the mounting hole between the two water connectors. A little glue secures it under the stainless steel cover, which is held by one screw.
What the loop needs
Fittings for return and suction line come from our fittings section. The coolant is moved by a separate pump from our pumps section. Many reservoirs are also available with pump top adapters and pumps pre-installed.
Notes
- The top unscrews counter-clockwise and frees the glass tube; keep the gaskets, seat them in their grooves on reassembly and use moderate force, no tools.
- The stainless steel bracket fastens to the reservoir with four M4 x 6 mm screws. Screws in the plastic base part take light force only.
In the box

The Installation Manual covers taking the reservoir apart, connecting it, fitting the LED and the bracket.
