Details
The world-renowned manufacturer Alphacool is currently the only manufacturer worldwide that uses pure copper for all water-bearing components. The pre-chambers, water channels, and fins are all made of pure copper. This gives Alphacool radiators the highest thermal conductivity, resulting in a significantly higher performance limit compared to aluminum radiators. In short, the cooling performance is simply higher when you need to dissipate a lot of heat. Copper has been the top material choice for water cooling for years.
All Alphacool radiators are designed for silent operation. Therefore, you don't need fans with particularly high static pressure to achieve the desired performance; you can use standard fans at low speeds. The performance loss compared to dedicated radiator fans is minimal and can usually be ignored. Of course, those who want to achieve maximum cooling performance and opt for dedicated radiator fans won't be disappointed. The maximum performance is not affected. Thanks to the copper and the high-quality manufacturing process, you'll still get a significant performance increase for your water-cooled components even with high-performance fans.
The fans are mounted using the included 30 or 35 mm M3 screws. All Alphacool radiators feature a protective plate that prevents screws from being driven into the cooling fins. A metal plate beneath the mounting holes prevents further screw penetration. Suitable screws are included for direct mounting of the radiator to the case.
Alphacool's NexXxoS radiator series covers almost all sizes and offers the most comprehensive portfolio of any manufacturer in this segment. It ranges from 40 mm dual radiators to triple radiators for 180 mm fans. Various thicknesses are available: ST30, XT45, UT60, and Monsta, where the number always indicates the radiator's thickness in millimeters; the Monsta radiators are approximately 86 mm thick. In addition, there are special sizes and HPC industrial radiators. These are specialized radiators designed for high pressure.
The NexXxoS radiators offer a wide range of connection options. While the slim ST30 radiator has two inlets and two outlets, all thicker radiators from the XT45 onwards offer three inlets and three outlets in the G ¼" format. Additionally, there is a G ¼" port on the rear pre-chamber for filling or bleeding. This allows you to mount the radiator in any desired position.
The X-Flow radiators are an exception. In the ST30 version, these have two inlets or outlets on each of the two end chambers. Here, the water doesn't flow in a U-shape as is usually the case, but rather from one side of the radiator to the other. Models from size XT45 and up have the usual three inlets or outlets on each end chamber. This gives you even more options with the X-Flow radiators to customize the water cooling loop in your system to your liking.
With a radiator from the Alphacool NexXxoS series, you get a unique, all-copper radiator with outstanding performance.
