The Alphacool HF Compression Fitting TPV - 12.7/7.6mm Straight - Black is a straight nylon compression fitting with a G1/4 thread for 12.7/7.6 mm TPV hose, one fitting per pack. It is part of Alphacool's Enterprise Solutions line of products, and the connector is specifically designed for use with TPV hoses.

Enterprise Solutions connection
Until now, Alphacool's TPV water cooling connectors have been used exclusively for servers and workstations, where durability and security are of paramount importance. To meet these requirements, the straight TPV fittings feature a locking collar that secures the hose. The collar consists of a metal ring inside the connector that claws onto the hose with hooks, so under normal conditions it is no longer possible to pull the hose out. Alphacool says that, in combination with the matching TPV hose, this connection ensures a remarkably high tensile strength.
Nylon material
The body is made of nylon to keep the weight as low as possible. Alphacool describes nylon as not only very resistant, but also extremely durable. In addition, it is compatible with copper and aluminum parts in the water circuit and is also non-reactive with other materials in the system.
What a run needs
A hose run takes two fittings, one at each end, each screwed into a G1/4 port. Hose to match is the Alphacool AlphaTube TPV 12.7 / 7.6, and more connectors for this hose size are in our 12.7/7.6mm fittings section.

Notes
- Alphacool's note on application: use the fitting only with clear, transparent water cooling fluids. The particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage water cooling products such as radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses.
