The Alphacool AlphaTube TPV 12.7 / 7.6 - Black Matte 3.3m (10ft) - Retail Box is a matte black TPV hose for water cooling with a 7.6 mm inner and 12.7 mm outer diameter. One retail box holds 3.3 m. The hose takes the Alphacool HF TPV fittings.

TPV against PVC
TPV is an EPDM rubber used primarily in industry, and Alphacool's technical data gives the material as EPDM (PP). For water cooling, Alphacool says, this means the tubing is much more stable than PVC hoses against acids, bases and external influences, and that it endures a higher temperature. Gone are the worries about warping hoses obstructing the water flow. It is only slightly harder than PVC, so laying it is as easy and uncomplicated. Alphacool says the brand new hose convinces with its subtle velvet appearance and its extraordinary longevity.
What a run needs
A run of hose takes two fittings, one at each end, from our 12.7/7.6mm fittings section. The new HF TPV fittings have been specially adapted for this hose and, due to their high tensile strength, are therefore what Alphacool calls ideally suited. That is Alphacool's pick, but of course the hose is also compatible with normal connections.
Notes
- Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
