The Alphacool G1/4 16mm Knurled HardTube Compression Fitting - Chrome is a screw-on HT compression fitting with a G1/4 thread for hard tubes with an outer diameter of 16 mm, one fitting per pack. Alphacool lists it as the HT 16mm HardTube screw-on nozzle, a connector that joins a 16mm acrylic or brass tube to a 1/4 inch thread.

Finish and colors
Alphacool says that with the new fitting for Plexi brass tubes it has taken another step towards perfection and quality. Chrome and Deep Black are the first two colors, and the maker says they offer great variety. Because the product series is completely matching, Alphacool says it makes every system shine in its own way. Highlighting the individual build has no limits, it adds, in conjunction with Alphacool Plexi / brass tubes. A new process during chromatising (chromating) leaves the finish completely connected with the brass body. According to Alphacool the longevity of the intense colors is improved and the chrome layer is kept from chipping. Alphacool lettering on the fittings highlights the individuality of these items again.
What a run needs
A tube run takes two fittings, one at each end, and each screws into a G1/4 port. Tubes to match are in our 16mm hard tubing section.
Notes
- Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
