The Alphacool ES Quick Release Coupling G1/4 IG Male - Bulkhead Fitting PushIn Industry is a nylon quick disconnect half with a G1/4 female thread and a male push-in connection, one coupling per pack. It is a bulkhead fitting. A male and female coupling are required for a complete connection, so this one needs a female counterpart, such as the G1/4 IG Female bulkhead coupling or the G1/4 IG Female coupling.

Through a panel

The coupling is designed for installation through housing or panel walls. That allows for the creation of feedthroughs, and according to Alphacool those allow for clean and stable tubing routing.

Push-in system

Thanks to the push-in system and what Alphacool calls their robust construction, installations built with these parts can be easily expanded or maintained. All couplings in this series are compatible with each other, and they also fit into the existing sets.

Nylon

The Industry version is made from what Alphacool calls high-quality nylon, and the key advantage it names is their low weight. Nylon is non-conductive, so the couplings prevent short circuits. Alphacool calls that a particularly important factor in modern server environments with high packing density. Being ultra-lightweight, the material also facilitates handling and installation.

Flow and sealing

Conventional quick-release couplings often create high flow resistance due to narrow water lines. Unlike those, this series was developed for optimized flow, which Alphacool says keeps resistance to a minimum while maximizing cooling performance. As always with Alphacool, a double seal is fitted, and the maker says this ensures absolute tightness for maximum safety. A locking clip additionally ensures that the coupling cannot be opened accidentally.
