With its internal thread on one end and the male push-in connection on the other, Alphacool says this part offers flexible application options in various cooling circuits. Thanks to their robust construction and push-in system, the maker adds, installations can be easily expanded or maintained. All couplings in this series are compatible with each other, and they also fit into the existing sets.

Nylon

Alphacool names low weight as a key advantage of the Industry version. The couplings are made from what it calls high-quality nylon, so they are non-conductive and prevent short circuits. Alphacool calls that a particularly important factor in modern server environments with high packing density. Being ultra-lightweight, the material also facilitates handling and installation.

Flow and sealing

Conventional quick-release couplings often create high flow resistance due to narrow water lines. Unlike those, this series was developed for optimized flow, which according to Alphacool keeps resistance to a minimum while maximizing cooling performance. As always with Alphacool, a double seal is there, and the maker says it ensures absolute tightness for maximum safety. Additionally, a locking clip ensures that it cannot be opened accidentally.

What a run needs

The thread allows for easy combination with components that have a G1/4 external thread, so it screws onto a male G1/4 port or fitting. The push-in side then takes a female half from our quick disconnect fittings section.
