The Alphacool ES Quick Release BLH1A PushIn Male with Barbed Fitting for 12.7/7.6mm is the male half of a quick disconnect coupling, with a barbed fitting for 12.7/7.6 mm tubing, one half per pack. It has no thread: the tube pushes straight onto the barb. Alphacool developed this connector specially for use in server and workstation systems.

Flow resistance
Unlike many conventional quick couplings, Alphacool says, this model has been fundamentally optimized to minimize flow resistance. Its internal geometry and tight production tolerances are meant to ensure a consistent and efficient coolant flow. Alphacool describes the result as high-precision manufacturing combined with excellent water flow and a secure click-lock system, for safe and efficient handling.
How it opens and closes
Alphacool's ES quick-release system allows for integration into complex cooling circuits, and Alphacool calls that integration fast and uncomplicated. To separate the connection, the outer ring is simply pulled back, and the integrated seal automatically closes to prevent coolant leakage. Reconnection is just as straightforward. Push the two parts together until a distinct click confirms a secure lock.
The barbed PushIn connection
This version features a PushIn connection with an integrated barbed fitting. Alphacool designed it specifically for tubing with a 12.7 mm outer diameter and a 7.6 mm inner diameter. It says this ensures a tight and reliable fit for a wide range of industrial and professional applications.
What a run needs
Important note: this product includes only one half of the quick-release connector, and Alphacool sells each half as either the male or the female version. A complete connection requires the matching counterpart, the PushIn Female with Barbed Fitting. Tube to match is the AlphaTube TPV 12.7 / 7.6, and other parts for this size are under 12.7/7.6mm fittings. For increased safety and optimal tube retention, Alphacool recommends the ES wire tensioning clamp (Art. No. 10282) in combination with this fitting. The clamp gives a more secure grip on the tubing, which matters most under higher pressure or temperature fluctuations.

Notes
- To prevent damage to the O-ring, the quick coupling should not be opened or closed when dry.
- Use it only with clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses.
