The Alphacool ES Quick Release BLH1A PushIn Female with Barbed Fitting for 12.7/7.6mm is the female half of a quick-release coupling, one fitting per pack. It is for tubing with 12.7 mm outer diameter and 7.6 mm inner diameter. It has no G1/4 thread: the tube goes onto the integrated barbed fitting. This product includes only one half of the connector, either the male or the female version, so a complete connection requires the matching counterpart, the male half with barbed fitting (item 14637).

Flow
Alphacool says that, unlike many conventional quick couplings, this model has been fundamentally optimized to minimize flow resistance. Its internal geometry and tight production tolerances are there to ensure a consistent and efficient coolant flow. The flow figures in the table below are given for items 14638 and 14637 as a pair.
Opening and closing
Alphacool's ES quick-release system is specially developed for server and workstation systems, and Alphacool says it allows for fast and uncomplicated integration into complex cooling circuits. To separate the connection, the outer ring is simply pulled back, and the integrated seal automatically closes to prevent coolant leakage. Reconnection is just as straightforward: the two parts go together with a push until a distinct click confirms a secure lock.
What a run needs
This version features a PushIn connection whose barb is designed specifically for 12.7/7.6 mm tubing such as AlphaTube TPV 12.7/7.6. Alphacool says this ensures a tight and reliable fit for a wide range of industrial and professional applications. For increased safety and optimal tube retention Alphacool recommends its ES wire tensioning clamp (Art. No. 10282) in combination with this fitting. Notes
- Important note from Alphacool: to prevent damage to the O-ring, the quick coupling should not be opened or closed when dry.
- Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
