The Alphacool ES Jet LGA 4677 1U is a CPU water block for Intel's socket LGA 4677, built flat for 1U server and workstation systems. The AMD socket SP5 LGA 6096 is optional, if available, and needs a mounting kit that is not in the box. Four nozzles spread the water over the nickel-plated copper base, and the connections sit on the side.

Fit
Compatibility out of the box is Intel LGA 4677. AMD SP5 LGA 6096 is optional: for that socket Alphacool sells the ES Mounting Kit EPYC SP5 - LGA 6096 separately.
Four nozzles
This CPU water cooler, the ES Jet CPU Cooler, was specially developed for powerful processors in server and workstation systems. A new feature is that for the first time the water is distributed over the cooler base via four nozzles. With the help of this nozzle technology all cores of the processor are covered, optimally in Alphacool's words, and thus cooled more effectively and with greater precision. Thanks to the change from one to four nozzles, Alphacool says, the cooler is able to reliably dissipate waste heat of up to 800 watts.
Performance-oriented
The base has been optimized specifically for the large processor cores. Its nozzles are not milled, but naturally incorporated into the cooler. Alphacool calls the result an organic water flow, one that ensures a smooth flow and thus increases the cooling performance. The entire cooler is made of nickel-plated copper. Alphacool's reason is that copper has almost twice the thermal conductivity of aluminum. It is therefore the material Alphacool finds particularly suitable for server or workstation systems.
Optimized for space
Despite the large cooler base and the four nozzles, the block stays compact and flat. The connections are located on the side to save room, in order to mount it in server racks without any issues.
Thermal paste
The included thermal paste is Alphacool's Subzero, which has a thermal conductivity of 16 W/mK. This Thermal Grease is electrically non-conductive. Alphacool describes it as particularly well suited for high contact pressures. It says the paste can still be processed perfectly due to the viscosity of 3,000,000 mPa.s.
What the loop needs
The block has two G1/4 threads. They take the compression fittings for your tube size, which are not in the box. To run, it needs a pump and a radiator in the loop.

Notes
- Please note: use the block only in conjunction with clear transparent water cooling fluids. The particles and additives in Pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage water cooling products such as radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses. This can result in voiding the manufacturer's warranty as well.
