The Alphacool Eiszapfen 16mm Offset Fitting Rotary G1/4 OT to G1/4 IT - Chrome is a rotatable offset piece in chrome-colored brass, one fitting per pack. It comes with one male G1/4 thread (OT) and one female G1/4 thread (IT). It screws between two G1/4 connections and has no tube connection of its own.

Integration made easy

Eiszapfen is German for icicle, and this off set fitting is the set piece of that series that carries an internal thread and an external thread. It is very compact, and thanks to those two threads it can be easily integrated into any water circuit. The piece is simply screwed to the corresponding G1/4 connections, at any position in the circuit.

Design

The threads are short, 5 mm deep on the female side or 5 mm high on the male side, and thus enable the very compact design. Alphacool, which calls the part an L-connector at this point, says it can be installed in the system in a very space-saving way. Its data sheet also lists a durable coating.

What a run needs

Alphacool gives the compatibility as G1/4 OT/IT connectors, also written G1/4 AG/IG connections. The male thread goes into a G1/4 female thread, and the female thread takes a G1/4 male thread, for example one of our fittings.
