A block built around this one card
The new HEATKILLER V GPU coolers for these cards represent Watercool's consistent further development of its already successful RTX 4090 graphics card coolers, optimized for maximum performance. Watercool designed the entire unit specifically for the ASUS RTX 5090 TUF to achieve high performance. Key features of the HK V PRO series:

Modular Pro-Performance base plate
Watercool says its current PRO Performance base plate, with 60 fins of 0.25 mm, sets the standard for water-cooled graphics card coolers and is currently considered the standard in the water cooling sector. The PRO version has a generously sized cooling surface whose channel geometry gives high flow rates and performance.
All clearances to heat-sensitive components have been reduced to a minimum, ensuring the best possible heat dissipation from thermal problem areas such as the RAM and the voltage converters. Precisely fitting spacers ensure perfect stability and an optimal force distribution between the cooler, the graphics card and the backplate.
Dual layer inflow and symmetrical cooling design
Both are found in the current version of the HEATKILLER V GPU cooler. The increased inflow is particularly important for the performance base plates: dividing the water into two levels gives a better flow through the cooler. The symmetrical flow paths were implemented through extensive flow simulations and optimize the flow, and thus the overall performance of the block.
High-performance thermal pads for GDDR7 RAM
Watercool's development department invested a lot of time in finding the ideal thermal pads for graphics card memory. Watercool says the pad it settled on lowers the memory temperatures compared to the already very good standard pads.
Screwless front, easy maintenance
A newly developed magnetic mounting system enables a screwless front design. It also gives quick access for maintenance or for installing an aRGB board.
Design-integrated side connection module
To keep flow optimal and the dimensions compact, the connection module was integrated into the design, and for increased stability it is screwed to the cooler's copper base plate. Together with the screwless cover and the included backplate, the cooler appears to be a single unit. A connection module with side connection threads is also available as optional accessories: the HEATKILLER V Sideport Terminal for ASUS RTX 5090 TUF, a connection terminal with side inputs/outputs.
Backplate and aRGB in the package
Watercool has completely redesigned how the cooler is assembled. Unlike on previous versions, the whole cooling unit now screws to the backplate. This not only simplifies installation but also optimally distributes the contact forces, further increasing cooling performance. In addition to the impressive appearance, the design also achieves better temperatures.
The aRGB board now uses a modular design and a compact plug-in system, and implementing it as a PCB ensures greater durability. Because Watercool's LEDs are highly compatible, the Heatkiller V cooler can be integrated into any lighting concept. The plug-in system also allows the cooler to be used easily without lighting.
Made in Germany
The block is manufactured with the utmost care on Watercool's state-of-the-art CNC machinery in Waren an der Müritz. Many steps are carried out by hand and each product is finished according to the four-eyes principle: Made in Germany, as you would imagine.

Watercool lists the two boards that this block fits. The same block also comes in a nickel-black version.

Notes
- The pre-mounted backplate comes off first; the red plastic washers on it are only transport protection and must be removed.
- Watercool recommends demineralized or deionized (distilled) water with a suitable corrosion inhibitor as coolant.
- Removing the original air cooler may affect or void the graphics card warranty.
