What the pad does
The high performance thermal pads of the Minus Pad series consist of a very elastic and flexible surface area, and Thermal Grizzly rates their thermal conductivity as very high. That surface does the compensating for even the smallest of gaps between components. Thermal Grizzly names three properties for the series: high thermal conductivity, high compressibility and electrical insulation. The pad is pink in color and its flammability rating is V-0.
According to the data sheet, the pads are mainly used when refurbishing graphics cards or converting them to water coolers, such as a GPU water block. They can also be used when installing M.2 SSDs. Thermal Grizzly's pad range also includes the Minus Pad Extreme V2.
Material and fitting
The minus pads are easy to process. They are made up of different constituents and based on a ceramic silicon formula complex with nano aluminum oxide. Thus the pads ensure a heat transfer that stays constant and optimal. To attach them optimally, the lightest of touches is enough. All pads are ecofriendly and RoHS-compliant.
Sizes and thicknesses
Thermal Grizzly makes the minus pads 8 available in a variety of sizes: 30x30mm, 120x20mm and 100x100mm. The thicknesses are 0.5mm, 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm and 3mm as well. This one is a single 100 x 100 mm sheet, 0.5 mm thick. We also stock the 100 x 100 mm pad in 1.0 mm, 1.5 mm, 2.0 mm and 3.0 mm. The 0.5 mm thickness also comes as a 120 x 20 mm strip and as a 30 x 30 mm piece.
