General information
DeltaMate fittings are Thermal Grizzly's water cooling connectors, designed for the individual components of a custom water cooling loop. They are precisely machined from brass, as expected from Thermal Grizzly quality. As an alloy of copper and zinc, brass is harder and more corrosion-resistant than copper, while it offers the advantage of being anodically compatible with other metals. The sealing rings (O-rings) are made from EPDM (ethylene propylene diene rubber), a highly elastic material which is resistant to ozone and UV radiation. The fittings are coated with a matt nickel finish, which Thermal Grizzly calls a premium finish that is also easy to clean.
Tube installation
The ST13 fitting in matt nickel is suitable for soft tubes made of flexible plastics. A single tapered barb allows straightforward installation for a wide range of flexible tubes. In combination with it, a knurled compression ring securely grips the tubing with high retention force, and that allows for easy and secure tube installation. The fitting is only for tubes with a 10 mm inner diameter and a 13 mm outer diameter. For 16/10 mm soft tubing use the ST16.
Fit in the loop
The robust design of the DeltaMate fittings allows them to be installed using an 8 mm hex key. The compact overall dimensions facilitate installation in almost any watercooling loop. The outer diameter is uniform and consistent with all DeltaMate fittings, such as the 90° rotary and the MF14 extender, which ensures completely seamless integration of the individual components.
