The parts that finish a build and the parts that break first. This section covers the hardware that holds everything else together once the cooling loop is planned.
Rack and server chassis parts from Alphacool: 19 inch rackmount rails with rail support, a 2U rear panel with three 90 degree PCIe slots, front I/O panels with USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 and the cable kits to match, and the ES Guardian 4 port powerfan hub.
Mounting and fastening: M3, M3.5 and M4 screws, thumb screws, flat washers and hex lock nuts in black carbon steel, sold individually so you can buy the length you actually need. DimasTech bench supports for USB 3.0 and for 3.5 inch drives, and Phobya PCI slot covers with Molex and PWM fan headers built in.
ModMyMods parts we make ourselves: flexible 120mm and 140mm fan mounts, including the V2.0 revision, single coated PVC foam tape for decoupling and gap filling, and a USB 3.0 20 pin to dual Type-A extension with panel mounts for getting ports out of a case that does not have them.
