Details
The Aquacomputer Aqualis ECO 150 mL Reservoir is a tube reservoir with a filling volume of approx. 150 ml and G1/4 connection threads. It has no pump or pump top: both the return line and the suction line connect to the base part.
Properties
- Capacity
- approx. 150 ml
- Ports
- G1/4, in the base part and the lid
- Tube
- Borosilicate glass, 50 mm outer diameter, 5 mm wall thickness
- Base and top
- Delrin, joined by a stainless steel rod
- Size
- approx. 50 x 50 x 175 mm without bracket
Borosilicate glass tube
Every aqualis series reservoir is equipped with a borosilicate glass tube. Tube reservoirs are often built with acrylic glass instead. In contrast, Aquacomputer says borosilicate glass is extremely hard and scratch-resistant and features superb thermal and chemical resistance, with a very low thermal expansion. On the 100 ml and 150 ml variants the tube has an outer diameter of 50 mm and a wall thickness of 5 mm.
Base, top and air removal
Base and top are made from Delrin and connected by a stainless steel rod. Above the return channel into the reservoir sits a deflector plate, which is installed to effectively remove air from the water circuit. Return line and suction line both go to the connectors in the base.
ECO and XT variants
This ECO version is the plain reservoir. The LED mounting and the fill level sensor are for the aqualis XT only. The aqualis XT 100/150 ml variants feature an acrylic window in the base part, and one LED (5 mm size) can be installed into it.
Additionally, the XT variants feature an electronic fill level sensor with USB and aquabus interface, a programmable alarm output and an external temperature sensor input. For monitoring and configuration, the aquasuite software can be downloaded free of charge. In addition to USB, the 4-pin aquabus interface lets the fill level sensor connect directly to an aquaero 5 or 6 controller (not included in delivery).
On the XT, the alarm output can be configured as an rpm signal for a fan connector with fault detection (for example motherboard fan headers). It can also be used as a switched output, for example to connect a LED. Fill level and the external temperature sensor input can each raise an alarm, and that input is compatible with all Aqua Computer temperature sensors.
Other versions
Most variants, including all 100 ml and 150 ml ones, are also available with a nano coating. It will cause water to roll off the inner surface of the borosilicate glass tube. Many reservoirs are also available with pump top adapters and pumps pre-installed. In the aqualis range, the Aqualis DDC 150 mL Reservoir (34077) has a base that takes a Laing DDC pump directly.
What the loop needs
Fittings are not included in delivery, so order them separately: two G1/4 fittings for return and suction line, from our fittings section. A connector wider than the recess around a thread only goes in with a suitable extension, not included in delivery.

Notes
- Turned counter-clockwise, the top comes off and frees the glass tube; keep the gaskets. On reassembly, seat the gaskets in their grooves and screw the top on by hand, with moderate force and no tools.
- The stainless steel bracket fastens to the reservoir with four M4 x 6 mm screws. Use light force only so the threads in the plastic base part are not damaged.
In the box
- 1x Reservoir
- Hardware and Accessories
- 1x stainless steel bracket
- 2x sealing screws G1/4 (preinstalled)
The installation manual covers taking the reservoir apart, connecting it and fitting the bracket.
