The Aquacomputer Aquaero 6 Pro / XT / LT Passive Heatsink | Black (53164) is a black aluminum passive heat sink that mounts on top of an aquaero 6 controller, XT, PRO or LT. Aquacomputer says that, mounted there, it improves heat dissipation and thereby increases the maximum power output of the fan channels.

Mounting on the aquaero
With the aquaero disconnected from the PSU and all cables unplugged, lay pieces cut from the pad (replacement part no. 51207) on the components the manual marks in red. Swap the four corner screws on the PCB side for the four M3 x 10 mm screws supplied (replacement part no. 91082), which hold heat sink and PCB together.
Optional active cooling
The aquaero 5 water block (art. no. 53093) can be installed on top of the passive heat sink, with its own thermal pads in between. Take the heat sink off the aquaero first, fasten the block with this kit's M3 x 8 mm countersunk screws (replacement part no. 91157), then mount the pair.
With a Real Time Clock module or aquabus X4
The heat sink and a Real Time Clock module (art. no. 53127) or aquabus X4 (53258) can be installed simultaneously. Fit the heat sink first. The additional mounting material is included: its 6 mm cylindrical spacers (replacement part no. 91239) replace the module's 12 mm spacers.

Notes
- Please note: the aquaero 6 and the water block are not included in delivery.
- A very old version of the water block has no second, narrower bump. If using that one, washers must be used for mounting it, for example 6x article no. 91026.
