Color from the tube

Alphacool calls hoses the lifeblood of a water cooling system and this tubing generation its latest. Its goals when developing the range were deep, intense colors, pleasant handling and easy installation. The result is a great choice of sizes and of colors such as red, green, blue or black, and this box holds the clear one. One goal when designing these tubes was to make colored coolant obsolete, and hence to take the strain of coloring particles off the cooling loop. On the colored versions the color comes from the tubes themselves.

Bending and handling

Besides color, Alphacool names the installation and kinking properties as always an important factor in choosing tubing. Tight bending radiuses and easy handling in tricky situations were also taken into consideration during development. Hence, Alphacool says, the plastic mixture was developed to perfection. In its own words, "we have created tubing" which manages to combine usually opposing properties, to please both beginners and advanced users.

What a run needs

A run of hose takes two fittings, one at each end, sized for a 10 mm inner and 13 mm outer diameter. They are in our 13/10 compression fittings section.

Notes

• Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
