The Alphacool Tubing AlphaTube HF 13/10 (3/8"ID) - UV Black 3m (9,8ft) Retailbox (18417) is PVC tubing for water cooling in the color UV Black. It has a 10 mm inner and a 13 mm outer diameter (13/10), and the retail box holds 3 m (9.8 ft) of it.

Color from the tube

Alphacool calls this its latest generation of hose. Its goals when developing this tubing generation: deep, intense colors, pleasant handling and easy installation. The result comes in a great choice of sizes, and in colors such as red, green, blue or black.

In designing these tubes, one goal was to make colored coolant obsolete, and hence the strain that coloring particles put on the cooling loop. The color of these tubes comes from the tubes themselves.

Bending and handling

Besides color, installation and kinking properties are always an important factor when choosing tubing. Tight bending radiuses and handling in tricky situations were also taken into consideration during development. Alphacool says the plastic mixture was developed to perfection: "we have created tubing which manages to combine usually opposing properties", to please both beginners and advanced users.

Made in Germany

Manufacturing in Germany, Alphacool says, promises permanently high quality. It adds that manufacturing with years of experience ensures the best product all of the time.

What a run needs

A tube run takes two fittings, one at each end, in the 13/10 size: they are in our 3/8" ID x 1/2" OD compression fittings section.

Notes

• Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
