The Alphacool G1/4 3/8"ID x 1/2"OD 45° Revolvable Compression Fitting - Black is a compression fitting with a G1/4 thread for 13/10 mm tubing (3/8" ID x 1/2" OD), one fitting per pack. It has a 45° bend and is rotatable. Alphacool lists it as the HF 13/10 screw-on nozzle 45° rotatable G1/4 in Deep Black.

What it does

The connector is used to connect a 13/10 mm hose with a 1/4 inch thread. Alphacool calls the 45 degree bend and the rotation interesting for easy tubing in the system. It gives the length as 36 mm, the width as D18 mm and the height as 40 mm.

The fitting series

Alphacool says its fittings go new ways in looks, quality of manufacturing, colors and choice, which its current page words as shape, processing and variety. In its words the inner diameter of these fittings truly deserves the "high flow" attribute. The first three colors are Chrome, Deep Black and Shiny Copper, which Alphacool says offer something for every taste. The matching product series is designed to look elegant in every system, highlighting the individual design of the computer. Alphacool adds that the limits are endless with these fittings in combination with Alphacool tubing.

Finish

A new process during chromating leaves the surface finish completely connected with the brass body, hence ensuring permanent, intense colors. Alphacool says it also prevents peeling of the chrome layer. Some of the fittings carry the Alphacool name on them in blue lettering, which additionally underlines the individuality of these items.

What a run needs

A tube run takes two fittings, one at each end, and this one screws into a G1/4 thread. Tube to match is in our 3/8" ID x 1/2" OD soft tubing section.

Notes

• Use it only with clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses.
