The Alphacool Eiszapfen 3/8" ID x 1/2" OD G1/4 90° Rotatable Compression Fitting - Black is a 90° compression fitting with a G1/4 thread for 13/10 mm soft tube (3/8" inner, 1/2" outer diameter). The threaded side is rotatable, and there is one fitting per pack.

Model: 90° Socket
This connector has a G1/4 thread on one side, and Alphacool says it is thereby compatible with 95% of components. The middle is turned at a 90° angle in order to prevent complicated hose connections, and the threaded side turns for maximum flexibility. The body is brass.
The series text gives this model as 90° Socket 13/10mm/16/10mm/19/13mm, three hose sizes. This article is the 13/10mm size: Alphacool's page for it says the other side fits a 13/10mm hose.
The Eiszapfen connector series
Alphacool calls its Eiszapfen Connector Series the high-end execution of these tried-and-true connectors. It says every requirement you could have of a connector is met with this series: highflow, form, processing and color. In Alphacool's words, a refusal to compromise in development and production has made the series into what it is. Components are available in brilliant chrome or a deep, matte black, and Alphacool says both will fit excellently into any system.
A special procedure binds the outer coating firmly to the surface. Alphacool says this is improving the longevity of the intense color and preventing any chipping or peeling of the coating. Every connector now has the Alphacool logo, which along with their distinctive shape makes them unmistakable.
Anyone looking for colorful options has them, the series text adds: O-rings in the shipment that come in three colors. With the available UV-light option, these will even light up in the corresponding color. Alphacool's scope of delivery for this article lists one fitting and nothing else.
What a run needs
The thread screws into any G1/4 port, and the hose side takes soft tube from our 3/8" ID x 1/2" OD soft tubing section. A tube run takes two fittings, one at each end.
Notes
- Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
