The Alphacool Rise Flat Reservoir DDC is a flat 250ml acrylic reservoir, which Alphacool also calls an expansion tank, with an integrated pump top for DDC pumps. The pump is not included in the scope of delivery, and the reservoir can only be used in combination with a compatible DDC pump.

Acrylic pump top and tank
The combination of pump top and expansion tank is made entirely of acrylic, and Alphacool describes the top as one for powerful DDC pumps. The clear material allows visual control of the water cooling level. Alphacool says this makes maintenance and control of the water circuit much easier and gives the tank a unique design.
Compact design, flexible use
Due to the flat, compact design and the high number of connections, Alphacool says the reservoir can be used flexibly and can also be installed in the tightest of spaces. Thanks to that design, it adds, the tank can fit into even the tightest case. With the help of the mounting kit in the box it can be mounted free-standing in the case, on a radiator or at free fan positions (see mounting example).
Connection options
The tank has a total of 5 inputs and one output, and all connections use a G1/4 thread. Alphacool says the 5 inlets are perfectly placed over the entire expansion tank. This allows for easy filling and draining and facilitates maintenance of the whole loop. The inlets also allow venting of the water circuit.
Brilliant lighting
On the side of the tank, 5 digitally addressable 5V RGB LEDs can be installed, and each is individually controllable. In addition to unique lighting effects, Alphacool says they create a unique, very noble-looking illumination. The digital aRGB LED lighting is connected via a JST 3-pin connector. It can be controlled with a digital RGB controller, e.g. the Alphacool Aurora Eiscontrol (Art.15360), or a digital RGB capable mainboard.
What the loop needs
The Rise Flat reservoir is compatible with all original DDC pumps, so add one from our DDC pumps. All screws for mounting the pump on the reservoir are included. Alphacool's note: the pump shown in the installation example is not part of the delivery!

Notes
- Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in Pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can also void the manufacturer's warranty.
