Brass hard tube
Alphacool says its Brass HardTubes let builders give their liquid cooling loop, or any water cooling system, a very special look, and calls that an opportunity for the user. The wall thickness is 0.8 mm. That makes the tubes very strong, but they're still thin enough to be cut and installed without great effort. Alphacool offers the brass tubes in chrome and black, straight and pre-bent, and in various sizes: this is the straight one in black.
Finish
Alphacool describes the chrome plating or painting as extremely durable. Scratches and chipping are only to be expected in the event of strong force.
Cutting
The tube comes at its full length and is shortened to fit the run. When cutting the pipes, make sure to smooth the cut edges with a fine grit sandpaper or the Alphacool Strong Guy pipe and hose deburrer. Sharp edges can damage the O-rings of fittings.
What a run needs
A tube run takes two fittings, one at each end, from our 13mm OD hard tube fittings.
Notes
- Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
