The Alphacool Eiszapfen 13mm HardTube compression fitting 90° rotatable G1/4 for Acryl/Brass Tubes - Black - Four Pack is a set of four 90° angled fittings for 13 mm hard tubes. Each has a rotatable G1/4 thread. Alphacool lists the model as the 90° compression fitting 13mm.

The Eiszapfen series
Alphacool calls its Eiszapfen connector series the high-end execution of these tried-and-true fittings. In its words, everything you want in a compression fitting is here: highflow, form, processing and color. It credits a refusal to compromise in development and production for what has made the series into what it is. Fittings are available in brilliant chrome or a deep, matte black, and Alphacool says either will fit excellently into any system. This set is the black version.
Coating and logo
The outer coating is bound firmly to the surface: a special procedure binds the two. Alphacool says this is improving the longevity of the intense color and preventing any chipping or peeling of the coating. Every connector now has the Alphacool logo, which along with their distinctive shape makes them unmistakable.
How it holds the tube
The union nut's corners are slanted. They allow the O-ring to be pressed firmly against the HardTube, ensuring it sits even more securely than before. Alphacool says this allows for greater safety in transport.
What a run needs
A G1/4 thread sits on one side, and Alphacool says the fitting is thereby compatible with 95% of components. The other side fits a 13 mm acrylic or brass tube. Each fitting is bent 90° in the middle to avoid complicated hose connections, and the threaded side is rotatable for maximum flexibility. Notes
- Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
