The Alphacool G1/4 Revolvable Y-Connector - Black is a Y-shaped splitter with three rotating G1/4 inner threads in Deep Black, one fitting per pack. It is for splitting a circuit so that certain components run in parallel.

The HF fitting series

Alphacool says its fittings go new ways in looks, quality of manufacturing, colors and choice. By its account the inner diameter of these fittings truly deserves the "high flow" attribute. The first three colors are Chrome, Deep Black and Shiny Copper, which Alphacool says offer something for every taste. In its words the product matching series are designed to look elegant in every system, highlighting the individual design of the computer. It adds that the limits are endless when these fittings are used in combination with Alphacool tubing.

Finish and lettering

Alphacool describes a new process during chromatising in which the surface finish is completely connected with the brass body. It names the result as permanent intense colors, hence ensuring that peeling of the chrome layer is prevented. The Alphacool name in blue lettering on some of the fittings additionally underlines the individuality of these items, the maker says.

What a run needs

Each of the three inner threads takes one G1/4 fitting from our fittings section. Alphacool says the three rotating threads give the adapter enormous freedom of movement.

Notes

• Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
