Model

Alphacool lists the model as a Y-connector 45°, G1/4 rotatable, with 2x inner and 1x outer thread. It says the 1/4" outer thread on one side is what makes this fitting compatible with 95% of components, and thereby easy to place. Because the opposite side carries two 1/4" inner threads, it can also be used as an adapter.

The Eiszapfen series

Alphacool describes its Eiszapfen connector series as the high-end execution of these tried-and-true fittings. In its words, everything you want in a compression fitting is here: highflow, form, processing and color. It credits a refusal to compromise in development and production, which has made the series into what it is. The fittings are available in brilliant chrome or a deep, matte black, and Alphacool says either will fit excellently into any system.

Alphacool uses a special procedure that binds the outer coating firmly to the surface, improving the longevity of the intense color and preventing any chipping or peeling of the coating. Every connector now has the Alphacool logo, and Alphacool says that along with their distinctive shape it makes them unmistakable. We also stock this one in Deep Black.

What a run needs

The outer thread screws into a G1/4 port. Each of the two inner threads then takes a G1/4 fitting of your tube size from our fittings section, or a plug.

• Alphacool's note on application: use it only together with clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage water cooling products such as radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses.
