Details
The Alphacool ES RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell 1-Slot-Design is a GPU water block for the Nvidia RTX PRO™ 4500 Blackwell, which Alphacool also names the RTX Pro 4500 Blackwell Workstation Edition. It is a 1-slot cooler for workstations and dense server racks, with both G1/4 ports on the rear, and the aluminum backplate is in the box.

Compatibility
Alphacool lists this card for this block:
- Nvidia RTX PRO™ 4500 Blackwell
The cooler is designed for one specific PCB layout, and the manual warns that design revisions may affect compatibility. Before ordering, compare your card with the pictures in Alphacool's GPU configurator, or look it up in its Compatibility List for Nvidia cards.
Made for servers
This ES 1-slot GPU water cooler was developed by Alphacool for professional use in performance-optimized server environments. Its compact 1-slot design and carefully engineered port positioning are meant for dense rack installations with limited space. Alphacool says the cooler meets the highest standards in cooling performance, reliability and ease of installation there. It calls the block the ideal solution for enterprise applications where performance, reliability and efficient space management are top priorities.
Carbon top and chrome-plated copper
Lightweight, durable carbon forms the top of the cooler. Alphacool says that significantly reduces the overall weight compared to conventional solutions. It describes the matte carbon finish as a subtle, high-quality appearance that is functional and elegant in equal measure. The cooling block itself is made entirely of chrome-plated copper. Alphacool says the chrome plating is considerably harder and more durable than traditional nickel plating, and that it offers reliable protection against corrosion, scratches and mechanical impact. In its words that is ideal for long-term 24/7 operation.
Ports on the rear
To save space, the inlet and outlet ports are positioned on the rear of the cooler. Alphacool says the layout simplifies tubing and integration into existing cooling loops, even in very compact server chassis.
Water flow
Inside, an optimized channel structure takes the heat from the GPU, the VRAM and the voltage regulators. Alphacool says it ensures highly efficient heat dissipation, and that the targeted channel routing guarantees uniform water flow across all critical components. The solid copper base is there for heat absorption and transfer, which Alphacool calls optimal. It adds that the robust chrome plating prevents flaking or damage under thermal stress.
What the loop needs
The cooler has two G1/4 connections with brass threads, both on the rear. Each takes one of the compression fittings for your tube size, which are not in the box. Alphacool gives 1.00 Nm as the maximum torque for the G1/4 thread. The backplate, the thermal pads, thermal grease, a putty tool, the screws and the PCI bracket come with the cooler.

Notes
- Place the graphics card on an antistatic surface to remove the original cooler, and work slowly where thermal adhesive is used.
- Clean the GPU, the memory and the contact areas of thermal paste and pad residue before fitting the cooler, for example with isopropyl alcohol.
- Remove the plastic transport spacers before assembly.
- During installation, make sure all components have sufficient clearance and the cooler does not damage the card.
- Alphacool asks that the cooler be used only with clear, transparent water cooling fluids. It warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can also void the manufacturer's warranty.
