The Alphacool ES Quick Release BLH1A PushIn Male IT with Bulkhead Fitting is the male half of a quick-release coupling with one G1/4 inner thread (IT), one fitting per pack. It mounts through a hole with its bulkhead fitting. The female side with the same thread is the female half IT with bulkhead fitting.

Alphacool's ES quick-release connector is optimized for use in server and workstation systems. Alphacool says it is characterized by precise manufacturing quality, excellent water flow and a secure click mechanism for sealing. Because other quick couplings can negatively affect the flow of water, the quick coupling has therefore been fundamentally redesigned so that the water flow is hardly disrupted. According to Alphacool, particular emphasis was placed on minimal processing tolerances.

Quick and easy

The ES quick connectors from Alphacool are meant to simplify the assembly of such systems. Alphacool says that, thanks to the convenient handling, complex systems can be connected quickly and easily. To open the quick-release fastener, the outer ring is pulled back: the seal closes immediately and prevents coolant from escaping. To lock the quick-release fasteners, simply push them into each other until a clicking noise confirms secure locking.

Function of the bulkhead fitting

The bulkhead fitting makes it possible to feed a tube through a hole, for example in the casing. It sits securely attached to the housing, using a lock nut to hold it.

What a run needs

Once the bulkhead fitting is mounted, standard G1/4 tube connections can then be connected to its inner thread. Those are in our fittings section, and the other halves are under quick disconnect fittings.

Notes

• Note from Alphacool: to avoid damaging the O-ring, do not open or close the quick-release fastener when it is dry.
• Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
