The Alphacool Eiszapfen Temperature Sensor Flat Fitting G1/4 - Black is a simple water temperature sensor with a G1/4 thread and a cable ending in a 2-pin connector. It screws into G1/4 female connectors, one sensor per pack.

Integration made easy

Alphacool describes the sensor as very compact and says it can be easily integrated into any water circuit due to its external thread. It is simply screwed into the corresponding connection at any position in the water loop. Due to the small screw-in depth, Alphacool rates it compatible with all Alphacool products with a free G1/4 connection.

Sensor

A classic NTC thermistor is used as the sensor, and the readable temperature range is between -40 and 125 °C. The cable is 40 cm long and leads into a typical connector with two pins. Many mainboards now offer direct connection options for such sensors, so please check the manual of your mainboard. Of course there are also several external fan controllers that offer a connector for it.

Design

The design is kept very simple so that the part can be installed almost invisible in the system.
