The Alphacool Eiszapfen 13mm HardTube Compression Fitting 45° L-connector for Plexi- Brass Tubes - Knurled - Deep Black joins two 13 mm hard tubes at a 45° angle. It takes a tube on both sides and has no thread, so it does not screw into a port. There is one fitting per pack.

What it is for
This is a new fitting from Alphacool for acrylic, brass, borosilicate (glass) or carbon tubes. In the middle the connector is angled at 45°, which Alphacool says is there to avoid complicated routes. With it, Alphacool says, it takes another step towards perfection and quality.
The Eiszapfen series
Chrome and Deep Black options offer great variety, and this one is the Deep Black version. Alphacool says the product matching series makes every system shine in its own glory. It adds that individuality knows no bounds in combination with Alphacool Plexi brass tubes.
Finish and branding
A new application process prevents the finish from fading or peeling and increases the longevity of the product. There is Alphacool branding on the fitting and collars, which Alphacool says will give your build a professional aesthetic. The beveled edges of each union nut press the O-ring very tightly onto the HardTube, and Alphacool says that brings greater safety during transport.
What a run needs
The connector sits between two tubes and turns the run by 45° without a bend in the tube. Each of the two tubes still needs its own fitting at the far end. Tubes to match are in our 13mm hard tubing section.
Notes
- Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
