The Eiszapfen series

Alphacool's Eiszapfen Fitting series is, in its maker's words, the high-end version of the proven compression fitting. Alphacool says all requirements that are placed on a fitting are met here: Highflow, shape, processing and color scheme. By its account, uncompromising development and manufacturing have made the Eiszapfen what they are. In brilliant white, Alphacool says, they blend excellently into any system.

Coating and logo

Special processes are used at Alphacool to bond the coatings firmly to the substrate. The longevity of the intense colors is thus given, it says, and chipping of the coating is prevented. In addition to its special shape, each fitting has the Alphacool logo, which makes it unmistakable.

How it holds the hose

The compression nut has beveled edges. They press the O-ring tightly against the hose, keeping the tube securely in place.

What a run needs

The fitting takes soft tube with a 10 mm inner and 13 mm outer diameter, found in our 3/8" ID x 1/2" OD soft tubing section. The thread screws into any G1/4 port. A tube run takes two fittings, one at each end.

• Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in Pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage water cooling products such as radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses.
