The Alphacool D-RAM Module (for Alphacool D-RAM Cooler) - 2 Pieces is a pack of two black aluminum modules that clamp onto RAM so a D-RAM water cooler can be screwed on top. It fits standard desktop RAM modules (UDIMM). Alphacool states that it is not compatible with DDR5, and not with RDIMM modules (Server & Workstation RAM).

How it works
With its system of D-RAM coolers, Alphacool says, a fight against the underrated heat source "memory" has been announced. Due to these new modules, it says, all memory blocks can easily and quickly be equipped with water coolers. Each of the memory blocks is clamped in a module, with the attached thermal pads in between, to achieve optimum cooling results. After successful assembly the D-RAM coolers, which are separately available, are added and screwed in at the required size.
What it needs
The cooler on top is a separate part: for four sticks that is the D-RAM Cooler X4 Universal in Plexi or in Acetal. We recommend a very thin layer of thermal paste, applied between module and cooler, for an optimal heat transfer. Note the special case of single-sided memory blocks: a thicker thermal pad must be used on one side. That pad is not included and has to be bought separately. The fitting accessories in the pack are four M3x8mm screws and an Allen key.
