The Alphacool D-RAM Cooler X4 Universal - Acetal Black Nickel is a RAM water block that cools 4 memory modules in parallel, with two G1/4 ports. It is screwed onto cooling modules or an existing heatspreader with a hole spacing of 110 mm (like the Corsair Dominator). The same block with a transparent lid is the D-RAM Cooler X4 Plexi Black Nickel.

How it mounts
Alphacool says that with the new D-RAM coolers all desired memory chips, any memory module, can now be cooled. The cooling modules are optional: we stock the D-RAM Module in a pack of 2 pieces. That module does not fit every kind of RAM, so check its page before ordering.
Sizes and finish
The range is available in, and distinguished by, three different sizes: 2, 4 or 6 RAM modules next to each other, which can be cooled in parallel. This is the size for 4. The base is copper with black nickel plating. On top sits a black or transparent cover with lighting capabilities, and this version has the black one. Due to that choice, Alphacool says, the RAM cooler is adaptable for each individual system.
What the loop needs
The block has two G1/4 ports, so it takes two fittings. Due to its special technology, according to Alphacool, it can be used in both high-flow systems as well as in lower flow systems, at the optimal level.
Notes
- Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
