The Alphacool Core DDCzero XS Reservoir with Pump is an ultra-compact unit that combines a coolant reservoir and the DDCzero PWM pump in a single space-saving part with three G1/4 ports. The included bracket lets it mount directly to any standard 120mm fan or radiator location. It is designed for small form factor PCs and custom liquid cooling systems where every millimeter counts.

How it is built
The reservoir features a durable acetal base, a crystal-clear acrylic body that provides a clean view of the coolant, and a premium aluminum cover. That cover serves as a stylish exterior component and does not come into contact with the coolant. Two of the G1/4 ports are integrated into the robust acetal base, a choice made for maximum durability, and the three ports together allow a flexible loop configuration. The third port sits in the clear acrylic and functions as a dedicated, convenient fill port.
Lighting
Integrated 5V digital aRGB lighting subtly illuminates the coolant, adding a refined lighting effect that complements the design of the Core series. It is compatible with standard addressable RGB motherboard headers, or with an optional Alphacool aRGB controller for lighting that is synchronized throughout your system.
Pump
At the heart of the unit is the DDCzero PWM pump, described as powerful and providing a maximum flow rate of 220 L/h and a maximum head pressure of 1.4 meters. PWM speed control allows operation between 3,000 and 4,800 RPM. That adjustable operating range is there for enabling users to optimize cooling performance while maintaining low noise levels. The pump has a ceramic shaft and is engineered around a durable construction, both aimed at dependable long-term reliability. The goal is a unit that delivers reliable coolant circulation without sacrificing performance, ideal for space-constrained builds. The box list names the pump as the Core DDCzero 3300-4800rpm PWM Pump, which we also stock on its own.
Mounting
Installation is kept simple by the Core Universal Mounting Kit, allowing the reservoir to sit on a fan or a radiator position. The mounting bracket supports both standard (straight) and 90° rotated orientations, making it easy to optimize tubing runs and maximize available space inside compact cases. The manual says to fit the bracket with the screws (4x M3x8mm) that hold the cover in place. The package includes that mounting hardware. What the loop needs
The two ports in the base carry the loop, so the reservoir takes two compression fittings from our fittings range. One G1/4 plug and an aRGB adapter are in the box. The manual shows four steps: pump installation, the mounting bracket, connecting the 4-Pin PWM cable and connecting the ARGB lighting.
