What paracord changes

Because it is made of paracord, Alphacool says the sleeve is therefore superior to many other sleeving types in many respects. This is a more supple sleeve than plastic based options, so the final sleeved cable remains flexible and is easy to train. That makes the cables easier to shape and to lay. Alphacool describes it as significantly more opaque than fabric and plastic sleeves, and names tight radii as the place where the higher opacity helps most. The colors are also more vibrant and have more "pop" than most sleeving options.

Sleeving without heatshrink

This style of sleeving needs none of the usual shrink tubing. The ends of the AlphaCord can simply be melted and, with a press of the fingers, secured into place around the crimped connector. Alphacool's steps: melt the sleeve at the contact, press it on, tighten it toward the other side of the cable, then repeat the process there. After that the sleeve is firmly in place and cannot slip. Overall that makes it a great option for heatshrinkless cables.
