The HEATKILLER RAD series, now with 140 mm fans
Watercool has now expanded the high-quality radiators of the HEATKILLER RAD series to include 280 and 420 mm versions. For these it chose to rely on the popular slim format (S), with a height of 30 mm. In addition to an optimized performance, Watercool says these radiators are characterized by their compact dimensions and by the high-quality workmanship typical of Watercool. If you have room for a different size, browse the 140 mm dual radiators for other depths.
Finishing and quality control in Germany
Watercool says it worked in collaboration with a well-known manufacturer from Asia and succeeded in creating a powerful network (mesh) radiator with a unique look. The cooling cores are manufactured by that partner strictly according to Watercool's specifications. The radiator housing is produced directly on site in Waren, which means the finishing and quality control ultimately take place in Germany.
High cooling performance across the entire speed range
The aim of the development was to produce a competitive radiator with a wide performance range. Accordingly, the HEATKILLER RAD shows very good cooling performance even with slowly rotating fans, and it scales excellently as the speed increases. When you want maximum cooling performance, it can of course also be used in push/pull mode, with two fans on each side.
The best raw materials used
Watercool uses only high quality raw materials as the basis for this radiator. The pre-chamber and the cooling channels are made of brass, and the cooling fins are made of copper. The side panels are laser-cut from 1 mm thick steel plates or stainless steel, subsequently brushed or powder-coated in black or white, depending on the finish; on this model they are white. The front sides, made of brushed stainless steel, significantly contribute to the exclusive look.
Easy integration into the cooling circuit
Integration into the circuit is done with two standard G1/4 inch threads. The connections required for this are not included in the scope of delivery, so plan on two fittings that match your tube. Watercool says the manufactured thread passages ensure easy screwing in and high strength. A small width of just 140 mm ensures maximum flexibility when you decide where it goes, and it takes standard 140 mm fans.
