The HEATKILLER RAD in 280 and 420 mm
Watercool has now expanded its range of high-quality radiators in the HEATKILLER RAD series to include 280 and 420 mm versions. For these Watercool chose to rely on the highly popular slim format (S) with a height of 30 mm. In addition to the increased, optimized performance, Watercool says the radiators are characterized by their compact dimensions and the high-quality workmanship typical of the brand. The same radiator also comes in white.
Finishing and quality control in Germany
In collaboration with a well-known manufacturer from Asia, Watercool says it has succeeded in creating a powerful, high-performance mesh radiator with a unique look. Its cooling cores are manufactured strictly according to Watercool's specifications. The radiator housing is produced directly on site, on Watercool's premises in Waren, which means that the finishing, assembly and quality control ultimately take place in Germany.
High cooling performance across the entire speed range
The aim of the development was to produce competitive radiators with a wide performance range. Accordingly, Watercool says the HEATKILLER RAD shows a very good cooling performance even with slowly rotating fans, a performance which scales excellently as the speed increases. For maximum cooling performance it can of course also be used in push/pull mode, with two fans on each side.
The best raw materials used
Watercool uses only high quality raw materials as the basis for the HEATKILLER RAD. The pre-chamber and the cooling channels are made of brass, while the cooling fins are made of copper. The side panels are laser-cut from 1 mm thick steel plates or stainless steel, and subsequently brushed or powder-coated in black or white, depending on the finish. On this model they are black. The front sides are made of brushed stainless steel and contribute significantly to the exclusive look.
Easy integration into the cooling circuit
Integration into the circuit is done with two standard G1/4 inch threads, and the manufactured thread passages ensure easy screwing in and high strength. The connections required for this are not included in the scope of delivery, so you will have to pick two fittings for your tube. The small width of just 140 mm ensures maximum flexibility, and it takes 140 mm fans.
