EPDM instead of PVC
Watercool says the HEATKILLER® EPDM tubing impresses with three core features: high flexibility, no plasticizers and long-term durability, which it calls a superb lifespan. Its high elasticity and great stability make very narrow bending radii possible without kinking, and in addition the material offers better dimensional stability than comparable plastic (PVC) hoses.
The tubing can withstand the harshest conditions (UV, heat and temperature, ozone) for many years. Watercool says this allows heavy-duty use as well and makes the tubing ideal for industrial environments and applications.
No plasticizers, no gunk in the loop
Because the hose is made of EPD rubber, Watercool can avoid added plasticizers altogether. This means slagging or clogging of the cooling circuit can be ruled out, and no build-up forms in microstructure water blocks. The hose is easy to lay and install, durable and absolutely maintenance-free. Watercool says that these robust properties, in combination with the elegant matt black surface, make it a typical Watercool product.
What the loop needs
