Where it goes
Besides the drives and graphics card coolers named above, the pads are suitable for electronic components such as voltage regulators and memory modules. Thermal Grizzly rates them easy to use and electrically non-conductive, with good thermal conductivity and lower compressibility than the rest of the range.
Basic, Advance or Pro
The pad is part of a series of three. Thermal Grizzly based this series on its proven Minus Pad 8, and says it has been further developed to significantly improve thermal conductivity, compressibility and price-performance ratio. The manufacturer's comparison of the three:
- Basic (these pads): good thermal conductivity and slightly lower compressibility, with what Thermal Grizzly calls an excellent price-performance ratio.
- Advance: improved thermal conductivity and higher compressibility.
- Pro: outstanding thermal conductivity with exceptional compressibility, at a slightly higher price.
Sizes and thicknesses
Thermal Grizzly makes the Basic in dimensions of 120 x 20 mm and 100 x 100 mm, as well as in thicknesses of 0.5 mm, 1 mm, 1.5 mm, 2 mm and 3 mm. This pack is the 120 x 20 mm strip at 0.5 mm. We stock the same strip in 1.0 mm, 1.5 mm, 2.0 mm and 3.0 mm. The 100 x 100 mm sheet stops at 2 mm.
