General information
DeltaMate fittings are Thermal Grizzly's water cooling connectors, designed for the individual components of a custom water cooling loop. Like the extender fittings in the range, the plug is precisely machined from brass, as expected from Thermal Grizzly quality. Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc, and the advantage it offers is being anodically compatible with other metals, while also being harder and more corrosion-resistant than copper. The sealing rings (O-rings) are made from EPDM (ethylene propylene diene rubber), which is highly elastic and resistant to ozone and UV radiation. The plug has a finish with a matt nickel plating that's both premium in appearance, in Thermal Grizzly's words, and easy to clean.
Fit and installation
The robust design allows for installation using an 8mm hex key, which keeps the simple plug easy to install in tight places and SFF builds. Note the maximum thread depth: 4.5mm! The plug includes an optional aesthetic cover with the DeltaMate logo, and the cover can be rotated to any orientation. All DeltaMate fittings share one uniform, consistent outer diameter, which ensures completely seamless integration of the plug with the other parts of the loop.
