General information
DeltaMate extender fittings are the water-cooling fittings Thermal Grizzly makes for the individual components of a custom water-cooling system. The extender fittings are precision-machined from brass, in the usual Thermal Grizzly quality. Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc. It offers the advantage of being anodically compatible with other metals while also being harder and more corrosion-resistant than copper. The sealing rings (O-rings) are made of EPDM (ethylene propylene diene rubber), which is highly elastic and resistant to ozone and UV radiation. The high-quality finish comes in the form of a matt black chrome coating, which is also easy to clean.
Where it is used
The extender is used as an extension fitting between two water-cooling components with female threads, for example a GPU block and a flow sensor. Its swivel joint provides full rotational freedom.
Fitting it
The robust design of DeltaMate fittings allows them to be tightened using an 8 mm hex key at installation. Its internal hex connections allow both sides to be installed together or independently of each other. A uniform outer diameter across all DeltaMate fittings enables seamless integration of the individual products.
